How to Send an Assessment in Righteo

Building an assessment is only half the job, getting it in front of candidates is what actually moves a hire forward. Righteo lets you send assessments in bulk to multiple candidates, keep evaluation consistent across every applicant, and see average scores as results come in, so you can spot top performers without digging through individual results one by one. Here's how to send one.
1. Open the Assessment
When you view an assessment, Righteo will prompt you to send it to candidates. If no candidates have been invited yet, you'll see a Send to Candidate button front and centre, along with the assessment's duration, total tests, and credit cost.
2. Choose an Existing or New Candidate
You have two options for who receives the assessment:
- Existing Candidate – assign the assessment directly to a candidate already in your system. Search by name or email and select one or more candidates from the list.
- Create New Candidate – add a new candidate profile before sending the request. You'll need their first name, last name, email, phone number, and the role they're applying for.
3. Confirm Credits, Webcam, and Due Date
Before the assessment goes out, Righteo shows you exactly what sending it involves:
- The total number of credits the request will use
- The option to enable mandatory webcam, which requires candidates to activate their webcam during the assessment
- A due date for the request, by which candidates are required to submit their responses
Once you're happy with the details, click Confirm & Send.
4. Track Candidate Status
Once candidates have been invited, the assessment view updates to show you exactly where each one stands. At the top, you'll see a breakdown of how many candidates fall under:
- Invited
- Accessed
Stop hiring by intuition.

- Completed
- Qualified
Below that, the candidate table shows total marks, completion date, and status for each person, so you can see at a glance who's still awaiting a response and who's already qualified.
5. Preview the Tests Within the Assessment
Click Preview on any assessment to see the individual tests it includes, organised into tabs. Each tab shows a description of what the test evaluates along with a sample of the actual questions, useful if you want a quick refresher on what candidates are being asked before you review their results.
6. Send to More Candidates
Need to bring more candidates into the same assessment later on? Click Send Candidate from the assessment view at any time to repeat the invite process for existing or new candidates, without having to rebuild the assessment from scratch.
Final Thoughts
Sending assessments this way keeps the entire hiring pipeline in one place, from invite through to qualified result. With bulk sending, due dates, and live status tracking handled inside Righteo, there's no need to chase candidates manually or piece together results from separate spreadsheets.
