How to Lead Generation Tools in Righteo

Every reference check request you send goes to someone who already has industry connections, whether that's a hiring manager looking for staff or a professional exploring a new opportunity. Righteo lets you turn that moment into a lead generation opportunity with two optional forms you can attach to any reference check request. Here's how they work.
The Two Lead Generation Tools
Before sending a reference check request to your referees, you'll see two lead generation tools you can toggle on and off:
• Attach staff request form
• Attach career interest form
Both tools are optional and can be switched on independently, so you can send either one, both, or neither, depending on what you're trying to achieve with that particular request.
How to Add a Lead Generation Tool
1. Open the Send Ref Check Screen
When you send a reference check request to your referees, the Send Ref Check screen opens with your recipients, questionnaire template, and a Lead Generation section. This is where you'll find the Attach staff request form and Attach career interest form toggles, each with a short note explaining that it will appear on the thank you screen for the referee.
2. Select Which Form You Would Like to Add
Toggle on the form, or forms, you would like to include. This will appear in the Thank You screen after the referee has submitted their responses, giving them a natural next step to take right after completing the reference check.
3. Add a Custom Message and Send
You can still add an optional custom message to the recipient alongside the email request, regardless of which lead generation tools you've enabled. Once everything looks right, click Email Ref Check Form to send it.
What Each Form Collects

Talent Request
Contact info and staff requirement details, including company name, industry, state, and comments, for referees who may need to hire.
Career Interest Application
Contact info, current company and position, and a short summary of the referee's own career interests.
What the Referee Sees
After a referee submits their reference check responses, the form or forms you attached appear on their thank you screen. The Talent Request form asks for contact details and staff requirements so referees looking to hire can reach out directly. The Career Interest Application asks for contact details, current company and position, and a brief note on their career interests, giving referees who are open to new opportunities an easy way to raise their hand.
Final Thoughts
Reference checks put you in touch with people who are already engaged and relevant to your industry. By attaching a staff request form or career interest form to your reference check requests, you turn every referee response into a potential lead, without adding any extra work to your reference checking process.
