How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Secure your Righteo account with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for an added layer of protection. Once it's set up, logging in requires both your password and a one-time code from an authenticator app, so even if your password is ever compromised, your account stays protected.
How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication
1. Open My Account
On the top right, navigate to My Account. This opens your User Profile.
2. Go to the Security Tab
Under User Profile, navigate to the Security tab. Here you'll see your Password settings along with a 2 Factor Authentication section.
3. Click Setup
Under 2 Factor Authentication, click Setup and follow the steps that appear.
4. Scan the QR Code or Enter the Code Manually
In Step 1, use your authenticator app to scan the QR code shown on screen. If you'd rather not scan a code, you can alternatively enter the code displayed underneath the QR code directly into your authenticator app.

5. Enter the Verification Code and Verify
In Step 2, enter the 6-digit code provided by the authenticator app into the verification field, then click Verify to confirm the setup. Once confirmed, 2FA will show as Verified on your account.
Logging In With 2FA
On your next log in, you will need to enter the code provided by the authenticator app. After entering your password, you'll be taken to a Two-Factor Authentication screen where you can enter your Authentication Code and click Verify to complete the login. If you need to start over, you can use the Go back to Log in link.
Final Thoughts
Setting up Two-Factor Authentication takes just a couple of minutes, but it meaningfully raises the bar for anyone trying to access your account without permission. With your authenticator app linked and verified, every future login gets the benefit of that extra layer of protection.
